NAWW Baton Rouge Chapter Hosts Pulitzer Nominee

The NAWW Baton Rouge Chapter hosted Pulitzer poet nominee Harvey Stanbrough (http://www.stonethread.com/) at a “Poetry & Gumbo” gathering on Saturday. Members were treated to hefty servings of both poetry pointers and Cajun cuisine. We also welcomed new member Sheri Silvers.

NAWW Maryland Chapter Announces Website Launch

The Maryland Chapter of NAWW is pleased to announce the launch of its website at www.MDnaww.org. The site contains many links that connect to the NAWW site, making it easy for members to find local information pertaining to the Maryland network, as well as connect to the national site to keep up with the latest happenings.

Their meetings are scheduled to take place on the third Thursday each month. Local response is favorable and growing.

Lisa is a facilitator, speaker and a big advocate of being real. In her film, “the girl who looked into the mirror”, she speaks with an open heart about life, love and the importance of being true to yourself. It plays as the “Film of the Week” through Monday, November 13, 2006 and after that date it will be listed in the films’ archives for future viewing.
