Christine Kane will be joining us for a very exciting event called “The Path of a Song.”
Even though the process of writing of a song is almost never linear, the language we use to describe this process is.
In this class Christine walks students through the work and play of writing a song (or several songs at once) keeping in mind that this path is often messy and squiggle-y and personal and strange.
She discusses inspiration, motivation, doubt, attention, getting stuck, editing, grace, and even gratitude. Because it is so easy to complete a class like this and forget to apply the principles, Christine provides simple and practical tools for students to take home and work with so that they can continue to grow as writers and craft their authentic voices.
