Wow! I came across this article (obviously through divine guidance) and was nearly stunned to see the words "habitual trance" of focusing on what appears to be in front of us now. How often I have thought these same thoughts! (repetition here again?) Thank you so much for this article - I was able to only skim it right now, but it's singing to me! I am looking forward to realling getting into it and working the message! Thanks so much for this beautiful shift shake-up call! I hope you have a blessed and beautiful day in beautiful British Columbia!!!
Blessings!

YES!! I have been using a similar technique now for almost a year and it is amazing what happens. I do think of myself as a character in a book I'm writing. What would Allison do now? is a common question I ask.

And, every morning I write for about 15 minutes about 9 or 10 sentences that describe something I am set on manifesting. It is written as if it has already happened. And, it's important to engage emotionally with it. To put myself in the mental and emotional space of the something I want being reality.

I have had such luck doing this. I've decided it's because first, it keeps me focused on it. If I start the day that way, it's on my mind the rest of the day and my decisions and choices are informed by it. And, it somehow sneaks in the back door of my habitual thinking and reprograms it. I begin believing it, it gets easier and easier to live in the space of it being reality, and then it becomes reality. Spooky but effective :)

I used it to create WomenBloom.com and voila it is up and running...and thriving!

Interesting article. A few of the ideas, however, go against what I have learned about the law of attraction. For instance, the third person. Does talking as if it is happening to someone else really cause your mind to believe that it is happening to you? I'm not so sure. Also, the lack of specifics. I was taught that the more specific you can get in your imagined life, the better you will be at manifesting the change. Thank you for sharing your insights. It's always great to see different perspectives.
