Story submissions immediately needed for two new Chicken Soup for the Soul books — Chicken Soup for the Democrat’s Soul and Chicken Soup for the Republican’s Soul.

Stories must be true (non-fiction), written in first person and be 1,000 words or less. Payment of $200 paid upon publication. Stories should make readers laugh, cry or sigh, and be positive, universal and non-controversial. No essays, sermons, commentaries, tributes, philosophical or biographical pieces will be accepted. Please read other Chicken Soup books to better understand our story-telling style.
