Authors Can Enter to Win Software and Publication in New Book

http://www.ideaweaversoftware.com/contest.aspx

If you love dogs and love to write, tell us your best dog story. Whether it’s your dog or just a dog you know, dogs can be silly, inspiring, goofy, loyal, heartwarming, and fun. Every dog lover has a great story to tell. We’ll select approximately 20 winners from the entries we receive (depending on length). The authors of the stories that are selected receive a free license for our IdeaWeaver writing software (a $50 value) and a free copy of the book of dog stories when it is published.

Like our other pet books (Happy Hound and Happy Tabby), this book will be offered to animal shelters and humane groups for use as a fundraising tool. The absolute best story we receive also wins a $50 Grand Prize and will be written up as a case study on the IdeaWeaver site with a link back to your web site if you have one. You must download a trial version of IdeaWeaver and use it to submit your story. 800-1,500 words. The deadline for entries is March 31, 2008.

NAWW Member Is Booking Guests for Radio Show

Posted by on Dec 08 2007 | Member Requests, NAWW Member News

Nan Russell’s new weekly radio show on www.webtalkradio.net debuted in October and she is currently booking guests for early 2008. Nan will be doing two guest interviews in each show (one featuring authors or experts on workplace and personal development topics; the other “real people” living their life’s work and dreams.) If any NAWW women are interested in potentially being interviewed on the show they should contact her at: workmatters@nanrussell.com.

Title of Show: “Work Matters with Nan Russell”

Show Overview: Work Matters sees itself as a catalyst for inspired and reflective thinking about what your work is and isn’t. Part inspiration, part mentor, part real world workplace, this show will help you offer the best of who you are to the world, live your life’s potential, and actualize your dreams. In the broadest sense of the show’s vision “your work” is about becoming who you are capable of becoming. We talk about work, we talk about life, and we talk about you.
