NAWW Member Announces Publication of Her Book

Posted on Mar 17 2006 | NAWW Member News

Joanna Francis, NAWW member and co-founder of Feminenza, an international network of women, has recently published her book Rainbow Woman.

Rainbow Woman is about the seven stages of life a woman goes through and it is a helpful tool in suggesting ways to make the most of each age and how to grow older gratefully, embracing the onset of each new stage, rather than clinging to youth as the pinnacle of a life.

The analogy of the rainbow refers to the changing nature of energy each person processes as they grow up and grow older. It gives a long view of life and explains how each person goes through the same character forming, discovery and re-examination processes at various times, so that the emotional upheavals do not feel so personal.

The book includes suggested ceremonies, meditations and prayers as well as letters from a number of people who have already been through a particular stage, giving advice to a younger person entering the stage they had already left behind.
