That women purchase about 66% of all non-fiction trade books, and yet over the last year, women authored fewer than 15% of the New York Times Non-Fiction Best Sellers?

NAWW invites you to participate in a landmark study to raise awareness of this issue.

The study looks at factors that could help more women become successfully published authors. It also gathers information about women’s economic impact and the dynamics that influence their book buying decisions.

This survey is supported by Carly Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett-Packard and one of the few women who has broken through the glass ceiling of the non-fiction best-seller list with her recent autobiography, Tough Choices:

“It is a fact that more women need to be heard. There are too many stereotypes that remain about women and the only way to dispel them is through sheer numbers. And there is no more powerful platform than becoming an author and presenting a message for all the world to see.”
