Video That Encourages Us To Use Our Brain and “Think” About Our Choices

Hi Creators and Big Thinkers!

I have an amazing video to share–please take 18 minutes today and watch this video: http://www.ted.com/talks/view/id/229

It is very, very powerful. I think it helps you understand why people think the way they do. This one helped me understand on so many levels what I am to do with my own life and also as a mother. Now I understand that my children may be more geared to think in a certain way–my job is to engage them and help them develop both sides of the brain and be more balanced in their lives. Take care and make sure to come back and post your reactions. :)

    Hi, Sheri -

Well, I’ll be the first to comment! How amazing! To think all those things while experiencing a stroke is absolutely amazing! It’s definitely a good lesson about mental balance and offers a great understanding of those who (thru no fault of their own) don’t have the capability to have this kind of mental balance. My mind immediately went to autism – and wondering what the world is like for a child who has autism.

    Thanks for passing this along!

    Sheri
Thanks for introducing the TED website. I listened to the entire speech which was nothing less than AWESOME.

The most interesting aspect for me was how this doctor perceived her body, time and space once the left side of her brain no longer worked. Scientists tell us that we are nothing but energy and yet, when I say this in workshops sometimes my audience thinks it’s all NEW AGE. This account offers scientific evidence to spiritual truths. Thanks for sharing it.
